"The Full House" : This consists of full porting and polishing of bowl area, stator section, transition pipe and nozzle as well as port matching of stator transition pipe. Port floors are lowered and radiuses are increased to promote higher flow rates. All pieces are thoroughly cleaned and inspected, then internally coated first with a zinc primer, then our exclusive water repelling coating to keep them smooth, eliminate drag and protect them from corrosion. The nozzle housing is then drilled, chamfered and tapped in the pin area for grease fittings. Used pumps are then fitted with a new wear ring in the barrel. Now our attention is turned to the impeller. The impeller is first welded on the outside of the blades to build up the circumference, then precision machined to our specs. After machining the blades are shaped and the internal cone is profiled. Then the entire assembly is smoothed and polished to a satin finish. The impeller is then dynamically balanced to within +/- 2 grams. The barrel assembly is then fully reassembled and ready for installation. We provide shims and instructions for shimming the impeller when you reassemble the unit on your boat.
